Heavy duty large size device kit to suit Two Ants adjustable holsters. This kit replaces the existing standard sized device kit and holds large devices such as larger mobile phones, larger two way radios.

This item is a replacement Device Kit Only and does not include the holster which is purchased separately.

Heavy Duty Extra Large Device Kit

Suits HEAVY extra large devices such as the Motorola APX Digital Two Way Radios used within Australian Emergency Services

 

Product Details:

  • Larger elastic retaining cord with side release buckle in place of the standard press stud
  • Longer elastic retaining cord to fit extra tall devices
  • Made from quality materials with strong Velcro behind (that works!)

  • The Two Ants® large device kits for adjustable holsters allow extra large devices such as iPhone Max, Samsung Note and Motorola APX Digital Two Way Radios to be held securely.
  • Grab a comfortable shoulder pad to make any over the shoulder holster with 50mm webbing even more comfortrable.
  • If you're over 5XL shirt size, grab yourself a waist extension strap to increase the girth for any Two Ants® chest or single side holster.

Heavy Duty Work

Two Ants® can handle it rough

When conducting heavy duty / demanding physical work, working in dense scrub, or where the holster and radio may be constantly rubbed against things and the device holder press stud may get caught and come undone, we recommend utilising the Two Ants® Universal Heavy Duty Device Kit (DKUHD) which utilises a buckle and comes with 2 different length heavy duty elastic cords to secure the top of the device.

When using the Two Ants® Holsters with Government Wireless Network (GWN) Motorola APX radios or the CFA Tait Digital Radios or some P25 radios with large batteries, you will need to upgrade the device kit on the Two Ants® adjustable holsters to secure the large and heavy radios properly.

Two Ants® recommends the Two Ants® Universal Heavy Duty Extra Large Device Kit (DKUHD) which uses a heavy duty elastic cord and buckle to secure the top of the radio, or if you prefer the press stud style then the Two Ants® Extra Large Device Kit (DKXL1BK) will do the job ok but utilises the standard sized cord and may be unclipped easier if brushed against something.
