Do I need a new antenna for a Cel-Fi Roam R41?

There are a lot of people asking if they need to upgrade their antennas to a 5G antenna if they have upgraded from a Cel-Fi GO G31/G32 to a Cel-Fi Roam R41.

The short answer is no, as the R41 works within the same frequencies as the G31/G32. The RFI 7000 series will work just as well as the RFI 8000 series on a Cel-Fi Roam R41.

The longer answer is that you need to check your antenna specifications and make sure it supports frequencies between 698MHz to 2700MHz. We also recommend that you make sure the antenna is in good condition without any cracks etc as water ingress into the antenna will affect the performance by degrading the internal connections.
